Creative process is analogous to creating one's own mythology and rituals, and what we
consider "archaic" still lurks in our mentalities and daily life in disguise.
Today, because of the rapid and drastic development of technology and science, we are in a
fear of losing this sense of one's own mythology. It is my focus to survey this issue to
revaluate and contribute to the history of art, suggesting not only new way of "thinking" and
"looking," but also images and objects that call upon the fundamental unity of individual
mythologies. I am engaged in observing and surveying the understanding of images, objects,
conventional motives and concepts, and re-interpreting them visually through specific
processes. I call this body of work "Visual Mythology."
